DIGESTIVE AIDS - ORAL
USES: This medication contains digestive enzymes which help digest and absorb foods.
It is used to treat symptoms of pancreatitis or other various digestive disorders.
HOW TO USE: This medication works best if taken with or after maels.
Antacids may hinder the effects of this medication. Do not take an antacid at the same time as this mdeication.
Wait at least two hours between administration.
SIDE EFFECTS: Generally this medication is very well tolerated and side effects are mild if they occur. Diarrhea, cramping or stomach upset may occur when starting treatment. If these effects persist or worsen, inform your doctor. Although very unlikely to occur, notify your doctor if you develop: skin rash, severe stomach distrses.
If you notice otehr effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor if your are allergic to the following: pork. This medication should be used during prgenancy only if clearly needed. Discuss the rsiks and benefits with your doctor. It is not known if this mdeication appears in breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all medicines you may use including prescription and nonprescription, especially: antacids that contain calcium and/or magnesium, iron.
Do not start or stop any medicine without dcotor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poiosn control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include diarrhea or upset stomach.
NOTES: Do not change genercis without first checking with your doctor. Do not share this medication with others.
MISSED DOSE: Take any missed dose as soon as possible but not if it is almost time for the next dose. If it is time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and reusme your regular schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature and keep away from moisture and sunlight.
Do not sotre in the bathroom.
